Default turn signal problem

When i bought this car the hazards were erratic, the switch was intermittent, I knew from my Corvette that if the hazard switch went bad I wouldnt have signals, So i replaced it. After i replaced it the turn signal worked way too fast. Im aware that the hazard switch is the turn signal flasher. and im sure thats the problem. Unfortunately i threw the old one away!! I bought the switch online and they replaced it but it still does the same thing because they sent the same switch. I have replaced all,4,turn signal bulbs with the bulbs listed in the owners manual. I feel that i need a different flasher

If you have access to a salvage yard you might want to check an see if you can find one there, Check Rock Auto for this part they may have a better one too.
