Repairing Our MCF Supercharged Monte Carlo Logo
That is freakin cool JJ!
Not meaning any disrespect to Gothkid. You made a great attempt, and offered some great inspiration. A big THANK YOU for being the first one to step forward and actually putting something together.
But to be honest, I think the version JJ posted is what most of us had in mind. A representative from every generation of Monte.
Having worked with photoshop myself, I know how difficult it can be to make a pic like that look good. Especially when you're using multiple different sources, with different resolutions, lighting. So many variables to contend with when doing a compilation pic like that.
On a side note...
I like the mean look on the 4th gen. Looks like it's staring you down, and about run you over.

My first thoughts were to maybe use members cars, but quickly decided that wouldn't be a good idea for that very reason.
All the cars appear to be stock from the factory. I'm sure we all know people on various forums who own a car that looks like one or more of the cars in JJ's pic.
But unless JJ reveals where he got the pics from, who's to say that the cars in his pic actually belongs to who you think it does?
In my humble opinion, I would just rather not know who owns those cars. Only stirs up hard feelings. And we all know that this site does not need a bunch of drama starting up over a logo.
Besides, can't we just enjoy the logo as a whole? And say, "Wow! What a great new logo!"
I have searched all over the net using every possible variation i could think of to get what i got. I used what i did cause these were the only ones with the right angles to complete the logo. I remember a while back i had asked if people could take pics of their gens with the angles i needed for a project i wanted to make. No one responded at all.
I am not going to say where i got the cars. Just that i got them.
People have been complaining about the fact that the 6th Gen up top had missing parts of the tires (including myself). But only Goth and I actually made an attempt to put something together that would represent this forum.
I know where all the cars came from and if the owners PM me saying that they would prefer not to have their car used, then so be it. I will start my hunt again for another with the right size, angle, and resolution.

dont u feel like your being mooned now lol
Guys, don't get me wrong, I REALLY appreciate the effort being put forth here. After all I'm the one that prompted this effort, but I don't have a good software to use, and honestly, don't have the desire. My concern is that there is no one saying "You used so and so's car, but not mine, and mine looks better, and, whine, and whine, and whine!".
The original photo was a factory pic, and my opinion was that it should stay that way, but again, that's just my opinion, and I'm not one of the authority figures here.
JJ, I believe you attempt is GREAT, and if you can get another pic of a 5th gen at the right angle, or even have someone provide a car for you to photograph, or for that matter, just find one in a lot somewhere and take a few pics. Do it! That header you have even right now is SSSOOOO much better that the P.O.S. pic we have now, and I REALLY believe a header with all 7 gens will help promote the fact that we are NOT just about 5-7 gens Monte's here. We want ALL gen's on Montes here, and that WILL promote that concept.
Is the size of the header correct?

If you use the Wikipedia link that was just put up else where, it defines the years of the generations of the Montes, and there is no 7th gen listed. What are the opinions here on using 6 gens vs 7 gens for our header pic?
