2001 Monte Carlo SS electrical mess
Headlights work,so do front flashers. Tail lights work most of the time but rear flashers only on the drivers side or not at all. same for the rear turnlights. Front turnlights work but the passengers side flashes too quickly. Radio, speedo, tac., heat and air, power windows and power passenger seat work but drivers seat, seat heaters, power mirrors and rear def. dont. Fuel gauge usualy goes to F on startup for a few seconds then drops to E but the fuel gauge problem didnt start until after I hit a pot hole very hard. The 3.8 engine runs fine. I have tried changing fuses and lamps.
Oh Yes, when I push the emergency flasher button it usualy just makes a buzzing noise or sometimes does nothing. Same for the turn light switch.

You have a bunch of issues.
- Front turnlights work but the passengers side flashes too quickly - This is called "hyper flash". This is use to indicate you have a bulb out. Check you bulbs. If I recall, the bulbs in the back use two filaments (one for parking lights and the other is the flashers, so one filament might be dead).
- emergency flasher button it usualy just makes a buzzing noise or sometimes does nothing - this is your flasher module as well. This *could* explain turn some potential turn signal/flasher issues.
- but drivers seat, seat heaters, power mirrors and rear def. dont - This can be multiple items. On the back side of the passenger side fuse panel are some circuit breakers on the backside (link below that explains this). One is for the rear defroster. I would check that the breaker is working. Also ensure the tabs on the inside of the rear glass for the defroster are still attached (common problem they come off the glass). Power mirrors, not sure. Could be a broken mirror or wiring problem. Heated seat, it is known that GM will have heated seat failures in multiple GM cars due to a break in the heating element. If that is the case, requires ripping the seat apart.

- Fuel gauge usualy goes to F on startup for a few seconds then drops to E - Could be a bad stepper motor, could be a break in the wiring from the sending unit or could be a bad sending unit.
