Right now im using a 12 Adire Brahma MKII on a kx 1200.1, i did a 142.8 in the windshield on the TL meter, the brahma is by no means an SPL sub and it was in box tuned to around 33hz. I have a saz 1500d that i bought awhile ago i just havent installed it in the monte yet. Im thinking of selling both amps and getting an saz 2500d. As far as subs im pretty set on an IA Death Penatly or an Ascendant Audio Mayhem..

Alts are kind of spendy but i think id take a look into a DC Power alt. I have a redtop under the hood now and im thinking i should have gotten a yellow top.. ive been pondering on putting a nice dry cell inthe back as well. Maybe a Kinetik 2400 or an XS 3100.

 

Excellent choices on subs, u cant go wrong with either! As for the alt, DC makes a nice alt for sure but their customer service leaves alot to be desired. Its hit or miss, sometimes you get great service, other times not so much. My advice to you would be if u decide to go with DC, make sure its charged on ur credit card so u can do a charge-back if need be because they are known for taking their sweet time in getting u ur product. Now if they would be honest and up front about the delays it wouldnt be an issue for most but they always lie to you...."we're gonna test it and box it up tomorrow, u should have it in 5 days" and then when the 5th comes and goes and u follow up on it you get "sorry, we've been swamped/shorthanded, but ill take care of it for you before i go home tonite." When all along the reason its not shipping is cause they're waiting for parts to build it. As for battery, XS Power batts are bank but if u can afford it that would be the way to go.

 

If you can afford it the XS Power 3100 is way better than the Kinetik..
