In my 05 monte in front of the console box there is a small plastic panel that snaps out and inside is a pair of connectors that are wrapped in foam. Does anyone know what it is used for? They look like they go together but are not connected.

Heated seat control wiring. Even if you car never had heated seats, the basic wiring was put in. If you want heated seats, I think all you need to do is get the seats and the switch controls, plug them in and your done.
