honestly my knowledge on sound systems is complete crap.

It's something I'll take the time to learn when I want to upgrade mine :P

Everything in my 02 was 2ohm. I would not bother with rear speakers though. Take the money that you were going to spend on the rears and put it towards a nice set of components for the front. You will be a lot happier. I don't even have my rear speakers in my car anymore. I'm running a set of 8's in the doors, 3's in the dash and tweeters in the pillars.

Thats a good way to go, if you like treble and have a hate for bass.

The factory system runs on 2ohm. You CAN wire in 4 ohm speakers into a factory amp (did it all the time when i was working on car audio). Your factory amp is going to be fine with the new speakers. The only thing is that its not going to be as loud as factory. If you can, and are not looking to wake up the neighborhood, you can buy your self a 4 channel amp and change all the speakers to 4ohm.

Your going to have nice clean highs, mids, and lows.

Just another path you can take.

I have plenty of bass. I've got a set of 8" midbasses in the doors getting 100 watts apiece, a set of 3" midranges in the getting a 100watts apiece, a set of tweeters in the pillars getting 35 watts apiece, and a single twelve running off of 600 watts. My system is more geared toward sq. I'd rather hear all the music instead of a bunch off bass.
