Default Steering Wheel Controls With New Unit

Does anyone know how i can still use my steering wheel controls (volume,seek,etc) if i buy a new radio?

well i happened to be searching through the last day and 1/2 worth of posts and ran across it so i thought i'd put it up so the person asking could just get right to it. if i hadn't found it i wouldn't have gone searching for it.

though i've never condoned being an enabler...

i have a 04 mc ss getting ready to throw some hids what do u think wud fit my ride really good temps and such

Depending on the HU you're planning on using, there are a few interfaces out there that will work with the car's steering controls. Check out Axxess, Peripheral, or PAC, they all have interfaces that work with aftermarket radios. I'll be using a PAC interface with my pioneer HU.
