Frank's advice is spot on. Had to use it on my monte once.

Now if you go by the shop book, I believe it tells you to drop the headliner to get the sun shade out.

I am not just doing the interior pieces swap, there are other things being done, changed, and customized too at the same time which you will find out/see at the end. Don't worry, I have been taking pics. I am also waiting on a few packages to arrive in the mail of stuff that I need so I can do each step in the proper order so I am not going back and forth re-doing things putting on then taking off again. Patience grasshoppers, lol.

Oh Lisa.... If you are not going to rehash your tan headliner, would you want to sell it????
I do not need the hard backer ( just the fabric) so I can finish a custom trim I've been able to finish since every aftermarket tan sold is too different. Please let me me if you are(PM me).
Thank you

I am keeping it, need to dye it because no Montes here in GA with sunroofs to get the headliners from. If I find any or if I find somewhere that you can get the fabric I will let you know.

If you want the stock look, and your headliner is tan, in a 2000 Pace Car, the headliner is actually gray.

Although if you dye it black, it will probably look sweet!

Some craft store like joann fabrics sell a couple selections of headliner fabric.

This might be a good time to reupholster it. Could also look into other fabric options too.

Update:
Making progress slowly, finances held a few things in limbo but catching up this week. Going to put some older Kicker speakers I have been saving and Kicker amp I got from a good friend in when the carpet comes out this week so I can power wash it then dye it. Right now working on cleaning my interior swap pieces. Almost 15 years worth of yuck and neglect to get off of these seats. The fronts are way worse. Thinking Zymol leather conditioner when I am done? Slow and steady, lol.
