I was actually contemplating the the ones from the 7th gen Montes (they look like they would fit, I just might have to switch the controls out). They have a slight brushed aluminum or carbon fiber piece on them....

But again, not sure I'm sold on it....

But that goes well with the brushed look on the dash, on your car it will probably look out of place.

I'm not really a big fan of those pieces in my Parents' 06

Not to mention, I like the LOOK of brushed aluminum, but most the time if it's in an area that is touched, it shows smudges and such pretty badly....

SEM vinyl dye, with SEM adhesion promoter... vinyl dye is not a paint, it's strength comes from many light coats so don't over do it!

I did not paint my interior pieces, I simply bought ones that GM offered in a different color (since they existed and had the dye in the plastic, I figured in this case, that would be a better route).

Years ago, I painted some air vents on my '94 Grand Am using regular spray paint. They are still holding up great to this day. I have no experience with car interior spray paints.

No problem! I'm anxious to see how your "black and tan" interior looks finished! I think you'll love the switch. Simple, easy and effective for a unique look.

Right now I can't drive my Monte due to having the PCM out for another tweak to it's programming for my mods.... And I still have to get the Pace Car wheel in, but I'm looking REALLY forward to toolin' around town in it. Small and personal touches!
