is there a pink, i think, wire in the harness? i think that's the remote wire but don't quote me on it quite yet.

 

Finally found my wire and can stop putting a volt meter to every wire in the dash. Pink was a constant power source , and i had the radio on when i clipped it and it didn't really do anything so i have no idea what pink even goes to, but i found it in the 8 pin connector attached to the steering column. It's dark blue with a white stripe. I took pictures that i'll probably post later since it seems like it's a pretty popular question. The sweet thing about it is it stays on until you open the door, instead of turning off when the key comes out. SOOOOO RELIEVED!!!!!!!
