Rear view mirror, to much shake

old thread but still relevant, i have same problem. my friend got a piece to stabilize his rear mirror but he doesnt remember where he got it...then again it could of been a piece of anything and he just wedged it between mirror case and windshield and it held either way gonna have to rig something

Remove your mirror and make a template of the piece attached to the windshield on some paper. Cut open an empty soup can, transfer the template and cut out. Slide into the mirror bracket, slide mirror back on to windshield mount and tighten.
