Default Overhead Driver Information Center

I have an issue where at times my AC controls, the overhead driver information center and the cruise control will not function. This most often happens right after start up. I read that the ignition switch is the cause. Also is the ignition switch the keyed switch on the dash or a switch somewhere else?

Yes, the key cylinder is part of the ignition switch. The switch provides power to the accessories and the AC controls can get flakey if it is going bad. It can also cause occasional stalling. The contacts wear out. When mine went bad, the AC would just stop blowing and would restart if I turned the fan to Off, on to 5 and then down to 1 or 2.(for a while).

Thanks, I believe the ignition switch is going to be what I need to replace.
