no power to the radio
I just bought the 2006 and am pretty clueless at this point. I started to push buttons and think that could be part of the problem. Maybe I reset something to factory but this car doesn't have many options. The manual says to push the on off button but the cd won't even move. It feels like the fuse is blown or something but the back light is on somewhere. (no clock)
Any advice is great. I lost my Intrepid and need to like this car.

Check the fuse, open drivers door its on the side of the dash, also check one under the hood.
Check if anything else is on the fuse and if that works, if not you should invest in a $20 test light, it lights up if 12v is present. you can use it to test if the fuse is getting power, then the next step if power is there and fuse is good is to check at the back of the radio. For that you should search in electronics for a writeup on removing the dash in your year of monte

battery drained
I appreciate your great instruction. It'll help later though for now, my trouble is bigger. Seems weird for the radio to go out and then everything else. After it quits raining, I will try a jump but figure I better get this car to an electronic diagnostic machine.
