Welcome to the Forum..

X2 I think people call 2002 Dale Earnhardt Edition ( INTIMIDATOR ) because that is on the trunk and floor mats, because nascar called Dale that all the time..

Monte Carlo SS Dale Earnhardt Signature Edition features:

Exterior:
  • Black with Galaxy Silver Metallic ground effects and a traditional red perimeter racing stripe
  • Intimidator graphic on the decklid
  • Dale’s signature and famous stylized No. 3 racing graphic
  • Richard Childress Racing (RCR) graphic on each ground effect, just behind the front wheel opening

Welcome to the forum.

I think a lot of people call the 2002 an "Intimidator edition" simply because it's shorter than "Dale Earnhardt Senior Signature Series". Besides, not everyone is aware there are two different versions. The 2002 model being the more rare of the two.

I hate it when people sell their pace car/signature series Monte, and keep the certificate of authenticity and other exclusive goodies for themselves. Kind of a selfish move in my opinion. If you want proof you used to own the car, take pictures. Or scan/photocopy the certificate and keep that.
