I purchased an 04' Intimidator SS in January and have desperately been attempting to find the VIN breakdown. I have seen various sites throughout the web, where individuals who own the 04 Intimidator have stated they own number 2021 for example. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can find out what number my Intimidator SS is when it came off from the production line?

Sounds like a nice ride. Have you tried contacting GM to find that info? There should have also been a certificate made documenting the production number along with the sales docs.

 

i was wondering the same thing baout my 02 intimidator

i bought the car from a used car dealer and im lucky i even got the owners manual....even tho it was stolen when the car was broken into[:@]

 

I own 2002 intimidator. Bought it new. I received a cert in the mail shortly after purchasing it. It was like number 1724 out of 3333. Anyways you should be able to contact GM and get that cert. Not possitive though.

 

ya know, a while back I had found a site that broke it down(back when I had to check Mickey about Chevy's being imported, hahaha) but I didn't add the site to my favorites[:@] I've since gone looking for it again but have come up short, but if I run across it again I'll hook you up!

 

That would be great if you found that site...I have searched the internet high and low with negative results!!

I also have a 04 Intimidator Verson! Great car. Soon after I got my car I got my certificate in the mail for it where you find the number on it. DId you get your certificate? Try to write Dale Earnhardt Sr INC. or call GM.
Question?? DId you have any problems with your Intimidator with the oil? I just got it and drove to Alabama when the oil light came on. We had to put oil in there every week almost. Finally we took it to the Dealership and they checked iot and said they need to keep an eye on it for awhile, when it did not stop yhe took the engine apart and found that all the seals where not good. They replaced them and I had no problems ever since. Just wanted to find out if anyone else had that same problem? Enjoy your Monte I DO!!!!

 

OK guys, I just got off the phone with the lady at the 2004 Monte Carlo Program Headquarters. I got her number via the Customer Relations Manager at the Chevy Customer Assistance Center (cac@chevrolet.com). Once you know the phone number of the right person it is a piece of cake. Call the following number and have your VIN number handy, she looks it up while you wait. Note: this only applies to the 2004 Montes, there may be similar sites for the other years.

The number is....1-888-739-9817.

Remember only the original owner gets the Certificate of Authenticity and hero card.
