Help with new Speedometer for my Intimidator SS
I just bought this '02 Intimidator guage cluster of ebay for the #3+ RCR+ red bowtie + dale's sig' on the face of the speedometer. How much is involved in swapping out the speedometer, or face, or what ever it takes to put this speedometer into my car? I can't swap clusters because of my boost guage.
Can anybody help me with this please?

Swap in the new one, recalibrate and install the speedo needle and reattach the lens...

My cluster is a specialty item. So is this new one. I intend to blend the 2 together to make a unique, but yet all factory, gauge cluster. One of a kind.

Haven't got the new one yet, should be here next week. Just paid for it. Probably going to be a couple of weeks before it's done. Working 60hrs a week right now, plus the 2hrs a day commute.
Calibrate the speedometer? Is it hard?
Does anyone see any real problems?

So are these one-piece overlays as in bbengineer's link?

If so, do I cut and splice rare overlays, or do I move the boost gauge to the cluster under the radio, an S.W. 1 1/2" unit and keep them intact?

Just remove the lens and you'll see...
