Default need some help selecting new products please help appreciated!

so i finally decided that i want to go with 2 kicker CVX 15" woofers. both will be powered by their own kicker zx1000.1 amp. they will be wired to 2 ohms and given 1000 watts RMS which as listed on kicker website is the correct amount of power..........

NOW HERES MY PROBLEM

i want a really NICE looking and sounding box for the woofers. i came across this....

15" DUAL CHAMBERED VENTED

it says on kickers website that each sub should have 3.0 cubic feet MINIMUM

that website whom makes that box says the GROSS cubic feet is 3.

has anyone used this box? does anyone have a calculation method of determining cubic feet? i failed math terribly in school lol

the demeions of the box id like to purchase are as so:

Width 39
Depth 19
Height 18
Vent Width 4.12
Vent Height 16.5
Vent Length 27
Vent Dim 67.98
Hz (Tuning Frequency) 34
Gross Cu. Ft. 3
Net Cu. Ft. 2.25

from what i remember when building my box is. to find cubic feet you do this

(39x19x18 / 1728.) but of course you have to negate the volume of the port and the dimensions shown are probably the outside dimensions so you have to again negate the size of the wood. (which i cant think of the forumla for that). but as for that box its probably pretty good. i built my own. i have 2 12in alpine type Rs. and they are also recemended for minimum of 3 cubic FT. and i have 1000 watts RMS going to them. and my box is roughly 3.3 cubic ft. tuned to 38 HZ. but it doesnt look NEAR as nice as that lol. mine is just the wood.. if you want to mess around with box calculators you can use this..

Torres' Box Tuning Calculator - SMD Forum

i hope i helped a little bit.
