I hope the install goes smoothly.
Take alot of pics so we can see how things go and if you run into any hurdles like I did, i'm sure it would help people who may try doing this after you.

went and got my system priced out for about 2k. That's with this HU http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/ina-w900/ and dynamating the whole car. Also installing my JL 500/1 with the 12' W7 to. I figured I would get it done by professionals so i don't have to worry about breaking anything and it would all be on them.

Hope that works out for you. Me myself personally, I can't stand stereo shops and won't ever have them touch another car of mine as long as i'm able to turn a wrench. I've seen some crazy hack jobs come out of shops, jobs that costed well over 5k and you'd expect the work to be top notch. I've been the victim of a hack job too.

Just yesterday my brother called me asking about what he'd need to get his amp installed in his car and one of the things I told him to get was an amp install kit. He's not running much power so I told him to get a 4ga. kit....he went to a stereo shop up in his area called Stereo King and they quoted him $160! He called me back and told me that and I immediately got online and went to KnuKonceptz.com and found a 4ga. amp install kit for $26.99 that has all he'd need and then some! See what I mean?
