LED Tail Light Build
Spanks

I got some nifty boxes to stuff the circuits it. There's two of them. One for each side of the car. They will go in the trunk somewhere.

Tails should be installed and wired up by Friday.. I promise

What are the circuits in the boxes for? They look like you have some adjustments on them. Are they for blinker speed controls?

When the brake is depressed, the circuit I made will take the brake wire current and bypass the PWM circuit, making the LEDs light up full brightness for brakes. The same applies for the blinker.
The board with the adjustment dial on it is the PWM. I will use this to set the brightness of the running lights (dimmed to around 50% of full brightness). The rest of the circuitry is some diodes and voltage regulators to give the LED array good voltage along with preventing any back flow of current.
Hope that was helpful. I know the PWM stuff can be quite confusing! It took me the longest time to figure out how to do it
