LED Tail Light Build
It's gonna be real hard to go back now
I hope I glued them on there straight
Tube says 24 hours till cure.

I went to RadioShack today to get some voltage regulators (the last part that I need) and it turns out that they didn't have them (unlike what their website said)
So looks like I'll have to wait until I go back to the big city this weekend to get the vregs or else get them online.
Man I want these things on!!!

I wired thes up and installed them today even though they aren't quite finished. They will work, but just not how I had planned. I wanted the upper section to be for brake/blinker only, but I'm waiting on a voltage regulator before that can happen.
So for now, I wired it in with the lower section so I could at least try them out. Man they look sweet! Freaking bright too!
Here's some pics of wiring them up. I'll get more pics (photoshoot) when they are finished how I want them to work.
Workbench/trunk

Splicing into stock wire harness.

I put magnets on the bottom of my control boxes so I could easily mount them anywhere in the trunk. They ended up fitting nicely above the taillight in the trunk.

A peak at how they look for now.

Also thinking about re-doing the third brake light in the center to match. I have some LEDs leftover
More pics to come yet

Gotta say Justin...Thats pretty sick lookn!
Thats one hell of an ordeal to come up with that let alone all the effort it took you to get it this far...! Impressive!
Talk about a wireing nightmare...I wouldnt even attempt something like that. (Electricals not my strong suit)
Im curious...
Howd you get the cases to split apart from the lens without bustn them up?
