Thats a few hundred less then what I paid for my whole car... Looks very nice as almost all pioners do. I am a big kenwood fan.As far as the stock headunit, I think that most stock ones 'look' better than aftermarket. You can easily connect it to the subs just go search on the internet and you'll get info.

Okay, well that sounds easy enough.

Will I HAVE to connect the power cable directly to the battery, or would it be okay to us an empty fuse slot in my fuse box and pull power out of that via one of those fuse adapter deals like I did for my under glow? And how important is it to splice the speaker wire directly behind the head unit? Is there a problem with splicing into the rear speakers via the wires already in the trunk?

I would run your main power wire from the positive post by the fuse box, just above the battery. There is a cap on it stock, you can't miss it. You will also have to run a remote power wire to your amp. This is "key on" power. I'm not sure if your car had the factory amp setup, but mine does, and since the factory amp and your new ampis going to be in the trunk, I probed around for a "key on" power wire and ran it off one going to the factory amp.

As for where to put the Line Out Converter, I spliced mine right at the rear speakers. I called the company of my LOC, and they said it didn't matter where I put it, even if it is after the factory amp. I did it, and it worked good for the short amount of time I used it for.

Hope this helps...

Okay, thanks man. A few friends and I were having a debate as to where it needed to go in. They said it needed to be spliced in right after the head unit, I said that it's the same wire with nothing done to it that is going into the 6x9s in the back so why not save some wire and splice in the trunk...
