I have installed a couple of double din radios in Hondas/Acuras, but this is one of the hardest I have ever done. Nothing I connect makes it work. The color codes are so messed up.

Jenson colors:
Red - Acc/Ignition(+)
Yellow - Battery (+)
Black - Ground(-)
Orange - TFT Dimmer (+)
Green/White - Reverse /Back up(+)
Pink - Parking brake (-)
Blue - Antenna/AMP Control(+)

I have figured out the speaker colors so that isnt a problem.
Figured out that the Yellow wire goes to the monte carlos orange wire(the thick one), the black goes to black and thats as far as I got. Where the red one go?

I have a 2003 Monte Carlo.

 

Did you buy a wiring harness with the radio?

 

Ya i fixed it by buying the harness.... Why doesnt GM just use standard coloring XD.
