Default interior after market speakers

hey everyone im looking into putting in some aftermarket speakers for my 06 monte. im throwin in 2 kicker L5s which are going to get 500 watts a piece and i have a JVC arsenal 69 deck. stock spears just cant handle the deck and sound like **** =\...time to spend more money lol.

i really like the pioneers but i guess the wont fit behind the speaker grills? i was suggested to buy boston acustics sc65 speaker from crutchfield...what do you have in your systems? any suggestions?

(i want to amplify the speakers just the two front ones probs a 50 or 60 watt per channel amp.)
thanks!

Look at some high end Orion speakers their honestly untouchable, I would go against anything Boston Acoustics I blew up 6 of their supposed indestructable subs in one summer. Everything in my Lumina is Orion speakers and amps, head unit is Eclipse check out my album to see my set up.

I suggest you find out the max depth you can fit in the doors and go listen to some speakers at your local shop/store so you can pick what sounds good to you. The only reason a speaker wouldnt fit back there is if its an oversized model or if its too deep.

thanks for the replies guys! crutchfields actually hooking me up with some sweet discounts! polk DB coaxils 2 way speakers which i researched and only to hear good reviews about them. they can handle about 55 watts. there going to sell me 3 of them in the 6.5 size for 150 bucks! i wont need the 6x9s cause im adding 2 L5s which will give me PLENTY bass. They are also going to sell me a alpine mrp-f300 amp for only 150 NEW! 50x4 at 4 ohms makes it a perfect match. for 300 bucks for a whole new system i cant refuse that offer
