Red face in the market for new front speakers

is the 07 monty carlos have the 6 1/2 in the front and is there a harness that i can get with out cutting the speeker wires?

Yes to both. They are 6.5" and you should be able to find a harness to avoid clipping the factory connector off.

Look for component speakers to replace your stockers. They are significantly better than coaxials.

I been in looking into changing my front speakers I have a pair of type r's coaxial now. I just hope Santa put those Alpine Type X's in my stocking this year.

I got the JL Audio components and added tweeters to my A-pillars at the same time.

thanks for the help on that i fifnt want the stock wires to be cut and i dont need ghosts in the electrical

If you get a chance, can you post a picture of what the inside of your door looks like with the panels off? I have some rattles in my driver and passenger doors.

i got the memphis audio 6.5 components and they have great sq but i also have an aftermarket amp. p.s. idk the depth of the ones you are looking at but i had to get an custom mdf mount for mine. they told me i had to go with 5.25 if i didnt.

I would imagine it looks pretty much exactly like my 2000. Here's what mine looks like from the factory.
