Default Installed new LEDs, Dull

Hey guys I just installed LEDs and I branched a wire off to get some leds for the back seats, and while those wires were connected I cut into them both, and right then the front leds went dim but only on the passenger side.

I know I shouldn't have cut into that with it powered but oh well that's in the past. All the other leds, like the dome light and mirror lights are still bright, but just this side, on the passenger side is dim. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, anyone know which fuse it is for the interior lights? I looked quick but didn't see it

I dont know if it makes a difference in this type of situation but did you hook them all up in parallel and maby the front ones are in series to the the rest of them and reduced the power??

i think i found out the problem, i think the strips i used went bad when i cut the wire, i still have to do some experimenting with it, but i will update this thread in the morning when i figure it all out.

the two that were wired in series were the one getting the least power, but ill try to figure it out and post in the morning if i figure it out

I know when I was fooling with my lights and LEDs I partially blew a fuse. It would allow the LEDs to come on but only very dim. IIRC the fuse was on the passenger side panel. I had 7 led bulbs in the sockets and only the center LED would light up. After I changed the fuse all of the LEDs would light up. I would check your fuses.

do you remember what fuse it was? i put it on another power source and they lit bright again, so im starting to think a fuse may be blown, because like you said, i have a brick of leds with 16, and only 4 light up

No I don't. I went and bought one of those fuse tester kits and check EVERY fuse lol. I think the fuse I changed didn't even look blown but showed up on the fuse tester.

Yeah bought one of those cheap ones from Autozone. It actually works pretty well. At least for the couple times I have used it. Check if your glove box light is working. I know when my fuse was blown the glove box light didn't work.
