ima detour this thread, since it seems to be just for chat about the topic at this point.

why dont my sesnors work now that i droped HID"s in both my highs and lows? the lights always turn on when in gear, always, they used to sense the light and turn on when it got dark or as muggy out. also, could it have something to do with the error i keep reading from my console, telling me my high beams are out? because they very much arent out but it keeps thinking they are :\ im thinking about picking up the error modules but ive never heard of anybody needing them in this car, was wanting some input.

well like stated a few times in this thread, the high beams cant be put on a dim mode now that they're HIDs, and since this can't happen that's probably why your getting a error message.

Your lows don't turn on automatically though when your driving at night?

Well see thier in the mail should get them soon.. Just monte in garage soo have to wait for warm day to install..

HID"s are illegal anything above 6k, or 8k with 55 watts, and they are most deffinatly illegal in refelective housings with out projectors.

Allright, so anyone running HIDs in your highs too, when you flip to switch to highs, and it takes a while to warm up, does this affect your driving at all? Has anyone wired it so highs and lows come on with the high beam to eliminate this issue?
