i agree on the whole being new to the forum thing. i personally didnt even notice a search option on the forums i was on till people gave other people that response. i think that perhaps there should be a large section marked frequently asked questions. i personally dont have an issue answering the same questions over and over again, or seeing a thread repeated. were all here to help and be helped. on to your question you need the ballast and the bulbs they usually come in kits. they are correct that it is illegal but i dont know what ticket you would get or law you would be braking. they make projector housings for the 06-07s but they run different bulbs then the factory headlights. good luck and any other questions feel free to ask away.

lol thanks guys...i DID utilize the search function, but i couldnt find any threads using the keywords i picked...but thanks...any ideas on how much it would be for all 4?

i got them in my head and fog lights.. just the low beams... i find all mine that i buy for me and other people on ebay. I have yet to pay over 60 bucks with shipping for a complete pair. that comes with everything you need. And so far i have lots of success

do you know where to get the replacement bulbs? the bulb and the cord running from it from the plug and play kit

got those on ebay as well actually lol i just ordered a 12k pair for my headlights because my 8k in my headlights is not as blue as the 8k in my for lights so i upped the temp a few notches to match better i hope. plus the bulbs in my headlights were goin on 4 years old and in their 4th vehicle so i got a new pair. cost me 15 bucks...
