i have heard good luck with the silver stars. i still have the stock style bulbs in mine but i have added a better ground and also after i moded the head lights i noticed my lights seem to work better. i personally belive that the lights work fine btu the chrome in them reflects it so much that it is throwing light every where but where it is needed. i have the black head lights now and it is like haveing a new set of lights all to geather. not to mention they look awsome LOL

I paid 300 for the Far Vision 8000K kit, there are others out there for cheaper, but I saw these in person, so I knew for sure what I was getting. The problem I see is that every manufacturer seems to have a different interpretation of color, some 8000K's are said to be aqua, others say their 8000K is deep blue etc. It was pretty easy, only mod is running wires outside the housing to ballasts, just drilling a hole in the covers on the back of the housing (the 06 has plastic rather than the rubber ones). Everything just plugs into to stock harness.

Im gonna take more pics as soon as the weather is nice and i wash it. As far as covers, I dont have any headlight covers, just HID lights. When off, they look nothin different than stock.
