Turns out my HU doesn't have the CD Changer. So tomorrow I'm going up to a junkyard to see if I can find one that does.

If I bought an aftermarket head unit is there a way I could take the stock unit andhook it up to the amp in the truck so I wouldn't lose all ym steering controls and stuff?

 

I have an Alpine head unit and i have the ipod direct connect cable that goes into the rear of the deck and i control my ipod with the deck and it sounds great, i havn't had problems with anything....the only thing that suffered is my green "cruise" control light that comes on in the dash only comes on once in a blue moon now, i had best buy do it so check that before you get too far out the door
