ok im getting tired of haveing only bass when i listen to music i have after market speakers they just dont have enough power i dont want to get a new amp for my speakers really i was looking for a head unit that had enough power do yall think thats a good way to go

i like mine that i have, but i have a pionner premier dec and love it has built in cross over and eq also has pleanty of adjustments to drive ya nuts LOL

A good way? I can't say without knowing what the specs are of the speakers you have.

I will say this though, I put in an Alpine head unit in my Accord and noticed a huge improvement over stock. But the stock system in it wasn't nearly as powerful as in my Monte. Post specs of your speakers and we can proceed from there.

max watts mean absolutely nothing. rms watts are the only wattage ratings you should be concerned with

no, but lets work with it. If those are your numbers, then a head unit will definitely make a difference in the sound as the deck will not only be able to push them nicely, but it will give you more control of the sound via eq/crossovers/etc. I say go for it.
