Default Guage Cluster lights

Does anyone know how I cant take apart the dash and put in white L.E.D's instead of the stock green color into the gauge cluster?

Damn that looks so good, but seems way to hard to do. The problem is getting my dash apart. Guess I can always figure that out myself thanks for the link ChibiBlackSheep.

Well, that person from the link used resistors with the l.e.d's so idk if you have to use the resistors along with the LED's?

If you can go without your car for a week, you can just take it out and mail it to him

I have done this myself. Its not that hard if you have a little soldering experience. Looks like this with blue LEDs (actually looks more blue and less purple).

I'll post a walkthrough if people are interested (meant to do it before but I forgot).

You do need resistors. I got mine free with my LED order. I'll look up the supply/info when I get home.

I know its been a while, but I have recently been asked for info on the LED upgrade, so in helping out a fellow Forum Member, I will finally be forced to post the long-ago promised walkthrough on my experience with the upgrade.

If you are interested in the upgrade, keep naggin me for info to keep me honest and I promise I'll finish this.... eventually!
