Default Got a new stereo, now which subs?

For my 16th Birthday(today) I got a brand new Sony CDX-GT630UI. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-wSBOMVV...X-GT630UI.html

But now I don't know jackshi*t about Audio systems. So what would be a cheap, but powerful bass and amp set up? I'm looking to spend under $200 for subs and $120ish on AMP.

Are you looking to buy new or used? Look on Craigslist, that's where I got mine. I got 2 MTX 7500's in a ported box WITH amp for very cheap. Also that way, if they are hooked up you can hear them and then decided if you like them. For under 200, you have a ton of opitions...

I havent used any of those but I love crutchfield. My friend got an MTX system with 2 1200W subs and a 1200 amp, its nice, but its not very loud, It was a cheap system too. Id say atleast $300-400 if you want a good system but 1000 for amazing, like 15 inch subs and 2000W of power haha.

On crutchfield check out the kicker subs like the kicker comps. I am not a fan of kicker i actually do not like them at all. my one friend has to kicker comp 10 in a sealed box and they hit prety good and loud, for the price its worth it. also check out some JL Audio and Alpine stuff on there, they are my 2 favs. JL is a but expensive but alpine is almost just as good but its a little cheaper
