I paid $149 and did not have my own tint. They had to remove the onstar antenna and re-install.

Cost me $140. Quoted me at $159 but gave me a bit of a break because they got behind schedule with the car they were working on before mine.

I think its going for about 150 here total so that's not bad. where did you buy your precut tint ? I was gonna do my own but i'm afraid of the monte's back window. The sides would be easy but that back window is gonna be a pain.

yeah the guy who is putting mine on said the two pieces would be easier on the monte's big back window and since it had a rear defroster it will hide the seam. i know it will look great once i get it done.

One reads tint percentages by saying what's left over right? Like there's only 20% visibility because they have been tinted 80%? So that would be called 20% tint? Here in NJ you can't touch the front two windows and windshield at all.

Can't touch the front side windows or windshield in Michigan either, but that doesn't stop anybody. The legal "four inch from the top" on the front sides looks stupid. The number is the amount of visible light that is transmitted through the film. So 20% would be the amount of light that is able to pass through the film.
