Default Fog lights not working, High beams stay on?

I have a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS and fog lights worked fine the other day, then I took the dash apart (unplugging the hazards) to install a radio, after radio did not fit I put everything back together again and plugged in the hazards and now my fog light switch will not illuminate and they don't turn on at all! Also at night my daytime lights wont be on but my hi beams will. During daytime my hi beams are not on. What is wrong with my car, maybe it's just a fuse but I do not know. Any help would be great.

As for why your high beams are stuck on, I couldn't really tell you . But if your high beams are on, your fog lights won't work. They only work when you have your low-beams/parking lights on.

did you hit the part that is for the blinkers and turning the high beam on and off? you could have damaged that also

Thanks I will check fuses when It stops raining and report back in case someone else needs help with this. As far as the high beam switch, it does not click when i push it in or out so that may be damaged (probably when I took the dash off i hit it) so when I figure anything out I will post info

No need for a new one. It does not click but if it is broken (im sure it is) I have warranty so I will just get it checked out. I now that part can cost over $300 new..looks like Im gonna be blinding people on the road for a few more days

I actually fixed it somehow. I just pulled the clicker all the way up as far as it would go and it clicked and now the hi beams are off. Now my fog lights work too (I guess you can't have hi beams on the same time as fog lights) except for your monte with those aftermarket ones LOL

Does your have heated seats Trewyn15? I thought I seen you have cloth interior but with buttons where the heated seats are.
