i have not pulled my deck yet to see but i was wondering. i keep seeing people talk about their monte having a factory amp installed.
my 01 LS model does not but i was wondering if the deck has RCA plug ins for a amp to be installed or not.
i am not into the big banging systems just want a little more "bang"

 

My 02 LS has the factory amp, it's under the rear deck in the trunk, you sue yours doesn't have it?

I have my 2002 SS factory deck and amp here on the shelf and I do not see any RCA plugs on either.

 

there are no rca's in the factory headunit itself, the speakers work directly through the harness

The factory amp on the Monte's are small and easy to miss. I wouldnt be surprised that your LS didn't have it though.

 

If it's not in the trunk between the rear speaker magnets then you dont have one, but i thought you would...
