The clip on the connector is broken and it won't seat correctly. When I wiggle it just right the auto dim and lights do work.


Anybody know where I can get another connector?

 

I did some looking around. Thought i might find it on carid.com for the part # but no luck. You can call up a local chevy dealer and they may have some extras or be able to order some. Sorry.

I personally ordered the, STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS plug, and the quality etc is fine..no issues. (As far as I can recall, Rock Auto didn't sell the "ACDelco" brand plug back when I bought mine.)
If you have the means/ability to solder, you might consider making all the connections that way. Only issue with soldering is, the OE/vehicle-side wires have corrosion resistance coating on the actual wire itself which prevents solder from "sticking" to the car's wire. (You can rough-up/sand the wires, and/or use, "soldering flux" >Radio Shack sells the flux to allow the solder to "stick" to the car's wire).
...ooor use the butt-connectors. The best tip I can give for using them for all those wires is, "stagger"the wire lengths coming from the plug so that all those butt-connectors are not all grouped into one area =a big fat chunk of connectors you'll need to try n shove up into the headliner.
Oh, another tip...swap the wires over to the new plug 'one-at-a-time' as to not get them mixed up.
