Default battery help with my stereo

hi guys im new to this site, and i have a 1998 monte carlo LS yeah i know a little old school, but im in the process of putting in a custom stereo (rear speakers, door speakers, amp, and subs, and head unit). So far everything is going fine head unit and door speakers and rears are run and work with no problem but i need to run a power wire up to my battery and it is tucked all the way up near my front tire near the bottom of the car, and i was looking for some advice as to what i need to do to get to it and if i should look into buying a better battery possibly.

Replacing battery

You have to remove the black plastic rivets on the winshield washer fluid container that sits above the battery and remove it. you will then see that battery and be able to replace it.

Default RE: battery removal?

i would look into running a yellow top optima battery if your running a stereo, they're the best battery that i know of and they can be mounted anywhere in any direction
