yeah i just didnt have a switch so i had to impervise
but it is a switched power and works well . at night you just have to get in and drive durring the day you kick the lights to parks and go. I have had alot less of the germans flashing thier lights at me and looking at me like im completly nuts for not turrning off my lights now LOL
