Aftermarket Sirius Power
Hi guys:
Just installed a sirius Stratus 5 receiver in my 03. My question is. Am I able to power the receiver without that ugly cigarette lighter adapter? I'd like to wire it direct to my fuse panel if at all possible. Anybody try this? Also, dumb newbie question time , if I leave the adapter plugged in, but no receiver in the dock, will I wear down my battery? My guess is no, but I'd like the experts opinion.
Thanks in advance

RE: Aftermarket Sirius Power
it wont wear you battery down. atleast it shouldnt. as for wiring it in..... find a positive and negative mayby to the headunit and wire it in there, that way you can have it on while you just have the ignition on and off no matter what.
