People with HID's come in!
I want to get HID's for my 02 SS. Problem is, there are so many places that sell them. I don't want to buy junk, so where are good places to get them? Where are the places to avoid? Any and all help on this will be greatly appreciated. And links to the websites of the good places would be cool. Thanks!

RE: People with HID's come in!
go to ebay and search for hid's
buy them from HIDWORLD on ebay, this is the seller's name
bought 3 times from them and never a problem.
they have very good feedback and shipping takes only 2-3 days
Highly my favorite

RE: People with HID's come in!
now just make sure that the ballast are digital. but the best brand that i have heard of is mcculloch. they are alot more expensize but i know multiple people with them, one use to being myself, but anyhow now they need to be digital. this prevents burst of electricity going to the bulb, like when you turn the key they turn on then when you start the engine they shut off then on again(that is why i no longer have the mcculoch, they werent digital and they were old)

Low beams are 9006 on a monte
High beams are 9005.
Wire harness: http://www.wbodystore.com/grandprix/...?reviews_id=85
It feeds your HID ballasts straight from the battery and uses your stock healight connectors as a switch.
Makes the HID's as bright as they should be, and makes sure they both come on evenly.
You can make one yourself too. I'm not sure exactly what you'd need, but it's really just wiring a relay between the battery and the stock headlight socket to the sockets for the HID ballasts.
