Default Aftermarket Auto-Start w/Alarm

I have the 2006 M/C SS. I am not happy with the alarm system or auto start on this car. The range is terrible, when I'm at work it won't even start the car from right outside the window! The most distance I've ever gotten the car to start from is about 10 feet. I changed the battery and that didn't fix the problem.

I like the Viper auto start alarm. I had one on my last car and it worked from 1/4 mile away, it paged you whenever something set off the alarm. The new one works from a MILE away.

I want to get this installed on my SS, but is it possible to put an aftermarket Auto-Start Alarm on a car that already has an auto start?

Go back to dealer they can fix it by changing the remote antena, module, and key fob. Good luck.

I will see what the dealer can do, but it will only solveone problem. I still want something that can page me if something is happening to the car.

If you really want the aftermarket system, I would have the dealer disable the stock system if possible.
