Hello Everyone,

I have an 85 Monte Carlo and suddenly the AC stopped blowing out of the vents. It will only blow from the floor. The defoster will blow the windshield vent. Where do I start finding out the issue? Is it a vaccum line that has come off? Any help would be appreciated!

 

Check the fan blower under hood maybe a bad connection with wire,or could be the" plastic wheel like part"either way its a easy fix.I had to replace one years ago on a vehicle.

 

I have a similar problem with my 87. I was told by one shop that they would have to remove the dash and see if the "flow director doors" are working then I was told it is supposed to be that way the VENT only blows on the windshield like a defroster and when I put the selector on FLOOR it still blows in my face as well as the floor. Is that really they way they are supposed to work?
