I have an 07 mc lt I just did this today You have to remove the back seat completely to remove the back dash .. Carefully remove the trimplate that spans the gap between top seat and bottom, romove body bolts and pry upt bottom seat then remove the seat belt nuts (2) and single nut on bottom metal of top seat fold down seat and remove four bolts 10 mm and remove the whole thing. Then pry off the three black pop in clip type fabric hodlers and remove seat belts etc.. then push upwards in the center and pull toward you on the back dash piece and you should be good to go for speaker access!

It is a royal pain it took me a few hours. Just take great care so you dont marr any plastic while removing the upper rear seat!!

Hope this helps

Chris

Hint on putting it back together: pull the rubber pieces off the seat bottom and put them into the mounting holes 1st, THEN put the seat in, or you'll struggle forever to get it to snap into place.

I did not remove the seat cushion, I just removed the 4 10mm bolts and 3 push pins and lifted the rear tray up and had enough room to get the speakers out. You will also need a torx t-15 driver or socket.
