i have an 06 ss, factory system. i purchased speakers to install in the rear, but when trying to connect, i notice the harness and factory wires do not work well together. the male end on the harness has two pins. the female end of the factory wiring has four openings in a "four square" formation. this vehicle does have a factory amp installed in the trunk on the under body of the deck. any clue as to whats going on or if i need any additional parts would help. thanks

 

did the speakers come with wiring, so you can rewire the factory wire so the plugs fit perfect to the speakers?

 

Nope, no wiring for the speakers. I did find out this morning that the harness didn't fit because there is another specifically for factory amps. Part doesn't come up in searches, but it does exist and is hard to find with no part no. Ended up cutting wires for the install. Thanks for the help man.
