Default 05 ss electrical problem help**

I donno How to start this could be multiple problems or something Simple. 104 800 KMS.

So This morning on my way to work I notice My DIGITAL gage Starting To FLICKER and once it actully went out for 2 sec and Kick back on and Flickerd all the way to work.....

Once I got to Work I put my Monte In Park and Rolled Windows Up.. Once the windows Reached the top and motors had had tention Alll My dash Lights Came On, Car starts BEEPING, Rpms DIVED to 400-500. ALMSOT stalled. Once I let go of the UP bottons the car would be find and find it IDLE and be FINE. I Try it again PUSH UP put tention on window motors and BOOM almost stalls and all Dash lights come on and beeping. Just like when We first put the key in and turn the Key on.........

Any Advise would Be great. Im Thinking Alt Maybe starting to Go/Bad battery Going to test them Tomorrow. and for the dig gage I know my Antie Regals went out on her and she paid big bucks for new one and reprogram.. soo anything would be great..

Well Of course When I test Alt Its Fine. Puts Out exaclly what it should. I turn Evrything on A/C - blower motor max - lights on- rear defrost- and charges fine. Then i rolled windows and seemed normal Did a Little drop in RPMS. then tested battery at 150 cranking amps and it HELD fine..

And yesterday my car almost didnt start Could tell it was draining battery befor it actully turnd Over and started...

Sooo maybe alt just decides when it wants to work and when it doesnt?? battery is 3 years old.

POOOF today on my way back home from work Kind of dark out soo my head lights were on.. I notice evrything was flickering and headlights were flickering on and off . 20 min drive home. I reach the front of my house Put Car in Park and Once i trun key to Off all power went out. headlights, dome lights, like battery completely Dead.... And now thiers no power what soo ever... NONE....

do i Go out and buy battery and alt?

Make sure all your grounds are good, connections at the battery & alternator. If all connections are good, I would think you should replace them. If that isn't the issue, return them and say they were the wrong ones or something lol

I'm not sure what the grounds are like in your car, but on supercharged 3800's there is a wire that goes behind the ICM bracket (under the coils), check on the tranny where the starter meets it, and of course the obvious battery connections

Check your ground over on the transmission! I think that may be the culprit.
