If your doing it on a color that's not black though you can spray paint it black and then you and extra gloss clear coat and it will look fine, i did that for both my upper and lower grille and i can't complain.

I do agree, mikes car is awesome, not even considering the mileage. it's in great condition and he's done good work to it
