Very true, the name means nothing...

Plus, a good reason for buying an intake over making your own is smog checks. In CA we have to smog every other year, and you also must pass a visual. Most of the store bought intakes are made to be 50 state legal (I said MOST). The intakes you would make yourself would not pass inspection (at least in CA).

i hate you lol, since its been on, without the K&N filter that just arrived today, ive only almost hit a snowbank and that was only because some big truck was merging over into my lane a bit

your intake looks real nice. i got the spectra filter on my car, it does a little for gas milage, but not to much for performance.

 

no i had the spectre taped on so that nothing sucked in could get to the engine lol but i got the k&n in last night, ill post some pics here in a bitf
