I wanted to go Thrasher, but for some reason 3800performance couldn't get it. So, I was going to cancel my order and go to zzp for the Wizaire, but They made a deal on the MSP CAI I couldn't pass up. Wizaire has a better lid than mine, but it basically the same thing. I can totally hear my supercharger whine!

mpd inc has one for our car's the 06-07 and body kits as well as a ram are hood forgot that i found the web site. cold air inductions are $20 less than mpd inc but it is made for the models that have the driverside air box where the battery is on the pasenger side

It's funny because I tried to buy one off their ebay store about a month and a half ago - they said they had 3 left - they never sent me my CAI and I got my money back.

Yea, don't buy the CAI from MPD, its is the exact same one as coldairinductions, except you are paying more. Buy it directly from the maker, and save yourself the money.

ok this is what i dont get cold air inductions only list the v8 and the 3.8 v6. its like the 3.5 v6 dont exsist at any web site for our cars that have the 3.5 v6. also prety much sol till some one transplants the 3.8 or the 3.9 v6 in the 06-07 7th gen monty thats not the ss model.

Just to clarify, yes, the 3.9L will work for the 3.5L...
If your looking at the right intake box, it should only list the 3.9L, and 5.3L under the selection. The one for the 3.8L is different.
That said, the intake box for the 06-07 Impala/ Monte is good for ALL engines, including the 5.3L.
