Well based on the photo that I saw on here, I ordered a set of headers from Speed Daddy on ebay a few minutes ago.

Its too good of a price for headers, and with a few minor adjustments with the double-wall flex etc I can be happy with the increase in HP and torque.

Once I get it, its off to the coating specialist for a applique of Jet-Hot Silver Extreme and then into the car.

Thanks for everyones comments and especially to 03SS/00GSE/93LX for his help and photos. Nice fuel rail and SS hose set up you have also.

No problem at all! I really hope you have no issues with the "dip"- like I said, I'd feel terrible if you did have ground clearance issues and had gone with the headers based on my experience. I do think you'll be very happy with them though, especially at that price. Good luck.

If it doesn't fit too well with a bump, it can be cutout I guess.

Do you know off-hand what are the other parts I will need besides the 3" ZZP flex?

Just these from Mandrel Bending Solutions (www.mandrelbendingsolutions.com):
Mandrel Bending Solutions Items
2 AccuSeal Clamp Stainless Steel (2.25") @ $7.95 = $15.90
2 Formed Clamp (3") @ $11.99 = $23.98

These plus the ZZP 3" flex and you should be in great shape- if the front O2 sensor bung doesn't work for you, you can run the front O2 sensor in the rear bung by using this from Summit Racing (www.summitracing.com):
CEI-109008 - Oxygen Sensor Extension Harness, 36 in., 4-Terminal Square Connector, Universal, Each

I use SSAC headers. Sound great, not too noticable of a gain, the sound just makes it feel better haha.

Default Headers just arrived

Speed Daddy headers arrived at work today. They look really good, solid, and shiny (for now.) Next up is getting them sent out to be coated with Jet Hot ceramic coating for thermal barrier and protection.

Started pricing out some shops for the installation. Ouch.

Can't wait to get these installed and letting the engine breathe like it was meant to.

Good call on the Speed Daddy's because I would say avoid the SLP's. The SD's are actually an improved design on the SLP's but really need the coating.

SLP's have the downpipe welded to the rear header and you simply cannot easily get them installed due to clearance issues with the firewall. I ended up cutting mine in half and redesigning the downpipe.

Where can someone get this done at, and what's the price range for it?
Just curious, thanks.

can you be more specific?

for header installation I've seen quotes (from the shop book for time estimates) of $500 to $750 for the job. There are some local Grand Prix enthusiasts who have offered to help do the job for a much cheaper price and they claim that they have done header installs before. I will still have to have a bit of welding done after the job is done.

so we'll see when we can schedule this, but I just found a cheap Gen V blower and I am thinking of upgrading that and going the N* route.

the coating by Jet Hot was quoted at 300 shipped.
