As for not feeling much with your mods- the only two mods that I really could tell a night/day difference with my gtp were the 3.4" pulley and the 1.9 modded stock rockers. Everything else was questionable, but necessary.

Basically, nobody can say what you do/don't need to run a particular size pulley. The only way to know is to install the pulley and scan for KR.
x2 Even two bone stock L67's brand new won't respond the same way to KR. There are a lot of minor differences and variances (as there is with any production engine)- so although people can give you basic guidelines, nothing can replace a scan of your own car.

Be wary of the vendors suggestions. While all of the W-body vendors are more or less fair and honest remember that they are vendors and are in this business to make money. That said they will not hesitate to sell you something you may not need.
x2 Intense has been caught up in a couple big lies, ZZP has changed thier story on various mods through the years (usually reflecting the products they carry), and so on. IMO to an extent you're better off getting information off the forums than by taking everything the vendors say as truth.

I've honestly wondered about the fans not turning after the car is shut off myself.

My PCM is supposed to be set to have the fans run for two minutes after key off so that the engine gets airflow. (I've heard that some people wire their intercooler pump relay to do this as well).
My fans don't do this anyways.

I believe that only happens when the car temp is like <200° or something

Not everytime you shut the car off.

You won't feel it either. The stock mufflers aren't a bottleneck until you hit 300 WHP.

I agree. They sell a few products that are quite useless (throttle body spacer anyone?) and as I've been reading Greg Bannish's book, some that are just awful since they don't tell you what you need to do. I'm not going to jump on his bandwagon yet until I research what I've "learned" from the book and get other opinions, but his writing has been the most informative I've read.

Not everytime you shut the car off.
That is what the PCM is set to do stock. The fans will stay on at key-off if the PCM goes into a failsafe mode (if your t-stat goes bad), or if the ECT is above a certain temp.

My PCM is supposed to be set so that the fans turn on for 2 minutes every time at key-off no matter what the ECT is.

The fans are also set to come on at 180* instead of the stock setting (212* i believe).

You can set the fan turn-on points differently with a tuner.
I would imagine that silverbullit isn't running the factory tune either.

In any event, they don't turn on after key-off even with the PCM set to do so. I haven't looked into it at all as it hasn't been too important so far. I kind of assumed that maybe the guy that did the tune forgot to actually change that setting, but if other guys with '04-'05 L67's are seeing the same thing then it could be something else overriding the PCM setting.
